If you have questions about how to use Ascender, this is a great place to check for your question. Don't see it listed here? Ask in the Ascender Support forum.

Can I share my certifications to LinkedIn?

Yes, once you complete your certification, go to your profile (Click on your profile image or through the dropdown in the top right of the page). Once on your profile, you will see a Certifications section that lists your earned certifications. Click "add to profile" on the certification you'd like to share on LinkedIn. You will be taken to the LinkedIn login page (if not already logged in).

I don't see my question addressed here. How do I contact the Ascender Support Team?

Your first step is to submit a support request or discussion in this forum, Ascender Technical Support. You can also email Help@Ascender.co as an alternate support route.

Will you have any live events?

Yes, we have events every month that can be found on the Upcoming events section of the community page.

Do I have to pay extra for any courses?

If you are on the Ascender Pro plan, all courses offered in Ascender are included in your membership. If you're on the Ascender Connect plan, you won't have access to the Enroll tab. You can learn more about our plan details here.

I have an idea for some content. How do I share that?

We're always looking for content ideas! Create a discussion in the Discussion for Explore forum or email us at Community@ascender.co.

Do you have any industry/vertical specific content/curriculum?

We are adding new content often, so be on the lookout! If there is something specific you are after and don't find it in the Explore tab, please create a discussion in the Discussion for Explore forum or email us at Community@ascender.co..

Why aren't comments I'm making on the Explore content tab showing up here?

Ascender shared content and Community shared content are separated. The Explore Content section is a place for us to share things we think are really helpful and great, but we want this community space to specifically be for all of you! We'll cross-pollinate some content, but want to keep things in their own lane for easier viewing.

My Team is growing. How do I add additional team members to my plan?

For teams of 15 or less, you can do this through the your profile by sending out a link to new team members. If your team is larger than 15, please request Kathleen Schindler by emailing us at Community@Ascender.co.

How can I buy a plan(s) for other people?

Whether you're a subscriber or someone who thinks Ascender would be a great career accelerator for a friend or colleague, you can now purchase one or more 1-year Ascender plans for someone else.

Connect, Pro or Team plans can be purchased from the Ascender sign up screen by selecting the green button of the plan you want to gift and then choosing the "For Others" option that will allow you enter the quantity of plans to purchase. More information can be found in the May 3, 2023 release notes found in the May 3, 2023 Release Notes discussion.

How is this different from Force Management?

Please see our FM/Ascender FAQ list here.

  • Stuck on some kind of cookies error on a mac and cannot ever get passed a first page. the image below gives an example. Content ended, cannot close the window, so cannot complete a lesson, so cannot move forward. Can i suggest the feature demanded the completion of a lesson, prior to moving to the next, is very school classroom and not needed. And technically is stopping me moving forward with this platform. thx

@Richard Bradbury Thanks for reporting this! This is a known issue for some people and something that we're already working to fix. In the meantime, please let us know if you'd like for us to force this lesson complete.
