What is Ascender AI?
Ascender AI is your personal learning assistant. It uses our courses, articles, and materials to answer your questions and recommend content leveraging a pre-trained AI model. Think of it as a mix of a coach and a search tool — tailored to your subscription, learning history, and plan.
How is it different from Google or ChatGPT?
Unlike public tools, Ascender AI only uses Force Management content and your learning history in responses. It won't pull general information from the internet instead, you’ll get tailored answers based on FM best practices related to your subscription.
What can I ask?
Ascender AI works best with clear, specific questions related to sales. It won’t answer non-sales questions or assist with platform-related topics.
You can find sample questions on the Ask AI screen to help you get started. Other examples:
- Ask for content by topic area or interest
- Get help summarizing sales concepts
- Request recommendations for courses or certifications
- Learn how to apply something you've learned
- Explore sales methods or best practices related to a specific concept
Can I use other languages?
Yes! Ascender AI supports many other languages besides English. We encourage you to ask your questions in your native language, and Ascender AI will respond in that language as long as it’s one of the supported languages.
How accurate are the answers?
Ascender AI is designed to give you helpful, relevant answers — but like any AI, it’s not perfect. Sometimes responses may be incomplete, out of date, or miss context. Think of the answers as guidance, not official instructions or advice. Always double-check key information with your course materials or your organization’s policies before acting on it.
What if an answer seems wrong, weak or unexpected?
Let us know! Use the thumbs up/down button and optional feedback box to provide us feedback – it helps us improve.
Can it take action for me?
Not yet. Ascender AI can guide you, but it can’t launch courses, change your settings, or perform tasks on your behalf.
What policies apply when I use Ascender AI?
Your subscription agreement includes a section called “Artificial Intelligence Tools” with specific terms for AI features. You can find the link on the lower left-hand side of the Ascender Explore page. Note:
- Misuse of Ascender AI can result in suspension or termination of access.
- AI features are experimental and may change, improve, or be discontinued at any time.
- We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
How does Ascender AI use my data?
When you use Ascender AI, we may collect:
- The questions you ask
- The AI’s responses
- Metadata like timestamps and navigation behavior
- Profile info (e.g., subscription type, completed courses) for personalization
We use this data to:
- Provide personalized answers
- Improve accuracy and relevance
- Monitor performance and prevent misuse
Is my data safe?
Yes. A few important points:
- Your data stays within the Ascender platform and is not used to train public AI models.
- Data is processed through Microsoft Azure’s enterprise-grade AI services in secure, region-specific data centers.
- We keep AI interaction logs for analysis and quality, and anonymize them per your subscription agreement. You may request deletion of logs where applicable by

Do you use third-party services?
Yes. Ascender AI runs on Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search services, hosted in secure, region-specific data centers in the U.S. Microsoft provides enterprise-grade privacy and security standards.
