Best AI tools that sellers are using?

I am a bit of a laggard when it comes to AI tools and solutions as a seller as I am still doing a lot of things the "old school" way and not using automation or AI.

I am realizing that I need to atleast understand what is out there and potentially selectively leverage some things if they can help with optimization.

Curious what others are using and having success with?

One area that I think would be helpful to learn about the best tools in is around account research. I still do this by literally researching on my own and reading through public documents, annual reports etc.

Is anyone using anything that helps with this?

I've been using ChatGPT, but not really for outbound stuff as much as I do for spot checking my own writing. It's really powerful and I like that I can use it to get quick feedback.

Sometimes, if I hit a roadblock, I'll use it to just get something down on the page so I'm not staring at a blank page. But I still really go over it.

perplexity.ai is one of the best AI tools I've found for research. It's like a superpowered Google search that summarizes details you're looking for and allows you to ask follow up questions to dig in further.

I've also personally invested in otter.ai. I use it to record and transcribe my calls. I just record the call from my mobile app whenever I have a teams meeting. I then copy the entire transcript and paste it into ChatGPT asking for a summary of the call, any key insights and the action items/next steps discussed. You can then ask follow up question…for example, "what did Bob say about the budget process" or any other question you can think of you want to know about the call.

@Lee Gallerano Thanks for sharing that! It sounds like a really good process.

Did you find it tough trying to get into the swing of that? I sometimes feel like a new process like this ends up being tougher to implement to the whole team, but love seeing it when someone puts it into place for themselves.

@Ben Fleishman - not at all. Especially for meetings. I just set my cell phone by my speaker phone and record from otter.ai. Then it’s a matter of asking the AI Bott specific questions about what was discussed on the call/in the meeting. I’m a very poor notetaker so this allows me to actively listen with confidence that I won’t miss any important points in my follow ups and building out my mantra.
