If you have questions about how to use Ascender®, this is a great place to check for your question.
What are the technical requirements for manager and facilitator certification "Record Your Own" lessons?
- Keep your videos less than 15 minutes. If uploading a video file, the size limit is 500MB. Accepted files types include .mp4,.mov,.wmv,.avi.
- If using the in-app recorder:
- Your browser may prompt you for permissions to use your camera and microphone to record the media - if it does, choose Allow.
- If the in-app recorder does not appear to be working and a prompt does not appear, check your browser's camera and microphone settings to make sure both are set to Allow.
- Refresh the screen after making the change.

Can I share my certifications to LinkedIn?
Yes, once you complete your certification:
- Go to My Profile (Click on your profile image or through the dropdown in the top right of the page).
- Scroll down to the Certifications section.
- Select Add to profile on the certification you'd like to share on LinkedIn.
- You will be taken to LinkedIn (you will be prompted to log in if you're not already).
- At the bottom of the Add license or certification window, select Save.
Your certification will now be listed in the Licenses & certifications section of your LinkedIn profile.
Will you have any live events?
Yes, we have live events every month. Check out the Upcoming Events sidebar on the Engage tab or the Events page to view and register.
