ADMIN & MANAGER RESOURCE: Overview of Manager and Admin Permissions

Some individuals in Ascender™ Plus have additional manager or admin functionality available to them. This resource outlines those permissions at a high level.

Manager Permissions

If you have direct reports in Ascender, you'll have some additional functionality available:

• Team Management — Under the Profile and Account Settings icon in the top right menu, managers will see Team Management and Reports in the dropdown list.
  • Assignments — From the Team Management page, on the Assignments tab, managers will be able to see a view-only list of all of their company's assignments. Managers can also assign courses to their team members (Elite Selling or methodology catalog courses).
  • Reports — From the Reports page, managers will be able to pull reports on their team members.

Company-Wide Admin Permissions

If you have company-wide admin permissions granted to you in Ascender, you'll have some additional functionality available (varies based on the permissions granted):

• Team Management — Under the Profile and Account Settings icon in the top right menu, admins will see Team Management in the dropdown list.
  • My Team — On the My Team tab, admins with team management permissions will be able to invite users, grant methodology access, manage hierarchy, deactivate users, and grant admin permissions.
  • Assignments — On the Assignments tab, admins with assignment permissions will be able to create and manage their company's assignments.
  • Access — On the Access tab, the admin with authorize purchase permissions (1 per company) will be able to purchase additional technology licenses or methodology access via Digital Change Order.
• Reports — From the Reports page, admins with company-wide reporting permissions will be able to pull reports on any user in the company..

Note: Only individuals granted Team Management and Assignments permissions will have access to manage participants for FM services-related assignments.
